F-Secure Share provides an easy to use online storage and sharing solution for photos, videos and office documents
F-Secure Share is already used by Telefónica, one of the world’s largest telecommunications companies. TerraGiga, the F-Secure Share online storage service of the leading Internet content portal in Spain owned by Telefónica, was released almost a year ago.
Pedro Gil Morales, Product Manager for Internet Innovation at Telefónica, says, “TerraGiga offers 5Gb of free online storage for one year to any Internet user around the world, regardless of their service provider or method of access to the Internet. The service is very simple to activate, and only requires an e-mail address and password to access it. Users can enjoy high speed uploads and downloads either through the web interface or the PC desktop clients available.”
F-Secure Share works as a virtual drive for all the end user’s digital content, easily accessible from the web interface of their home PC, office computer or mobile. Sharing content with family, friends or work colleagues simply requires the end user to email a download link to his or her contacts. The inbuilt media player makes it easy to enjoy the latest holiday pictures, family videos or work projects without the hassle of downloading any files.
F-Secure Share is also integrated with webmail with the ability to publish folders and files on social media networks like Facebook, Twitter, Digg, MySpace, Delicious and Widget or use them to populate a RSS feed or a blog.
